Eligibility
We welcome adult learners from all walks of life. Whether you’re looking to gain new qualifications, improve your English or maths skills, retrain for a new career, or simply explore a new interest, we’re here to support your journey.
General eligibility info
- Age: You must be aged 19 or over on 31st August before the academic year you wish to start your course.
- Residency: You must be a resident of Manchester or the Greater Manchester area.
- UK Residency Status: You must have lived in the UK, EU, or EEA for the last 3 years OR Hold a valid visa or immigration status that allows you to study in the UK.
- ID and Address Proof: You will need to provide valid identification and proof of your address.
Fees and funding
Many of our courses are fully funded or low cost, especially for learners who meet certain criteria.
