We run English programmes at all our adult learning centres. Before you start a course, we will listen to your requirements and carefully assess your skills. Our team of expert tutors will always ensure you join a course at the right level for you.

Functional Skills is a nationally recognised qualification useful for gaining employment, retraining or advancing your career. We offer five levels of Functional Skills English ranging from entry level to level 2.

GCSE English is an intensive one-year course for individuals who need to gain GCSE English in order to gain employment and/or progress to Higher Education (HE).

Our Level 3 Award in English for Literacy Teaching is perfect for those who wish to develop their English speaking, listening, reading and writing skills, with a view to applying their skills to teach learners literacy and ESOL up to level 2.

Finance your education

If you claim benefits or have a low income, we may be able to provide financial support to help you complete your course. This support can cover transport, childcare or technology. You can also choose to take out an advanced learner loan to help cover any fees associated with your course.
