Our courses are designed to develop your skills and knowledge so that you’re able to succeed gaining employment in the early years and education sector or advancing in your current role. Before you start your course our team of tutors will carefully access your current skills to ensure you join a course at the right level for you.

This qualification has been designed to develop your understanding and knowledge in childcare to support progression to higher level courses in childcare.

On this course, you will develop the knowledge and skills needed to support children and young people in their schools.

Designed to stimulate interest in early years education, this course is ideal if you’re thinking of working in childcare. You will be encouraged to learn the skills and knowledge needed to care for young children.

Through studying the Level 2 Award in Support Work in Schools and Colleges, you will gain the skills and knowledge needed to work, or volunteer, in a school or college setting.

 

With this course you can expect to learn about children and young people’s development. You will develop the skills and knowledge to support those with disabilities or special educational needs in a college, primary/secondary or special needs school.

The Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner course will help you to gain the understanding and skills needed to be considered as qualified to support young children from birth to 5 years old.

This course is an introductory qualification ideal for people who would like to work or volunteer as teachers, tutors and trainers in adult and community learning, further education and/or work-based training.

This qualification is ideal for those who assess both occupational competence in the work environment and vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in environments other than the workplace (for example in a workshop, classroom or other training environment).

On this course, you will develop skills, knowledge and understanding to enable you to work in the following roles: teaching assistant, classroom assistant, learning support assistant, additional needs assistant, pastoral/welfare support assistant, bilingual support assistant or foundation stage assistant.

The Level 5 Diploma in Teaching (Further Education and Skills) is for those who intend to work in the further education sector and can provide trainee teachers with the knowledge and skills needed to teach in a range of contexts.

This main purpose of this apprenticeship is to plan and deliver teaching that is current, comprehensive and challenging to young people (16+) and adults within all parts of the education and training sector so that they reach their full potential.

If you claim benefits or have a low income, we may be able to provide financial support to help you complete your course. This support can cover transport, childcare or technology. If you’re required to pay for your course, you can also choose to take out an advanced learner loan to help cover any associated fees.
