If you need to develop your skills and knowledge when it comes to using Microsoft applications for work, then this is the course for you.
You will learn how to confidently use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for the workplace, explore file management, collaborate in Teams, and learn other Microsoft 365 basics.
The Microsoft for Work course includes the following:
- consolidating and developing your skills and knowledge in using and applying digital skills for work.
- specifically using Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and File Management.
- becoming more confident when using your digital skills and being able to work more collaboratively and remotely using Teams and SharePoint in 365.
This course is delivered face-to-face in a classroom at our adult learning centres.
This course has no formal qualifications however, you will receive a Manchester Adult Education Service Certificate of Attendance.
For this course, you should have a basic level of digital skills and be able to demonstrate Entry 3 English skills (speaking, reading, and writing).
Thoroughly enjoyable and Natasha and John at the Forum are an excellent combination of help and encouragement.

Following on from this course you could be ready to join a higher-level digital skills course with Manchester Adult Education Service depending on your needs and preferred area of specialism.
You could also progress in your current role with your new skills and knowledge or look to secure employment.
