Interested in the world of digital marketing? This introductory course is perfect for you if you would like to explore the basics of digital marketing and then decide whether it’s the right career path for you.
On this short course you will:
- Find out about the principles of digital marketing via social media, emails and ads.
- Improve your digital skills for creating digital marketing content.
- Take steps towards a career in digital marketing or promoting your business online.
This course is delivered face-to-face in a classroom at our adult learning centres.
This course has no formal qualifications however, you will receive a Manchester Adult Education Service Certificate of Attendance.
To be eligible for this course, you should have, or be working towards, a good Level 1 practical IT skills and IT knowledge. You must be able to speak, read and write English confidently at Level 1.
You will also need access to a device (laptop or computer) at home. You can apply to our Chromebook loan system if you do not have a suitable device.
Career and progression routes
After completing this course, you could look to progress on a Level 2 Award in computing, digital, and IT with us, choosing from either a digital marketing, or office essentials pathway.
You may also be interested in developing your skills further by attending our Skill Up workshops or perhaps enhance your Microsoft Office abilities.
You may also be able to secure employment with your improved digital skills.
