Our courses are designed to develop your skills and knowledge so that you’re able to succeed gaining employment in counselling or advancing in your current role. Before you start your course our team of tutors will carefully access your current skills to ensure you join a course at the right level for you.

The Level 1 Award in Counselling Skills has been designed to give you an introduction to counselling skills so that you can prepare for further learning or training in this sector.

The purpose of this course is to develop your knowledge and understanding of counselling, to introduce you to the skills required for counselling and to prepare for further learning or training in this area.

On the Level 3 Diploma in Counselling Skills you will learn about how to use counselling skills as part of your functional role, or is particularly ideal for those who are looking to progress towards accredited counsellor status with one of the counselling professional accrediting bodies.

This course will give you practitioner status to conduct yourself as a counselling practitioner. Throughout you will develop your therapeutic counselling skills and be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of counselling in a therapeutic setting.
