Course details
Lead Adult Care Workers support adults with care needs to live independently and safely, helping them achieve personal goals. They also provide leadership and supervision to other care staff, using their judgement and accountability to ensure high standards of care.
Their role involves guiding others, making decisions, and promoting dignity, choice, and wellbeing for those they support. They may work in various settings such as care homes, day centres, or private homes.
Through our Lead Adult Care Worker apprenticeship, you will develop the skills and abilities to exercise judgement, take appropriate action to support individuals, provide leadership, guidance and direction and overall improve the health and wellbeing of those receiving care and support.
Throughout the course you’ll learn a vast range of knowledge, skills and behaviours (KSBs).
