Course details
Across the city, Healthcare Support Workers deliver compassionate, person-centred care tailored to individual needs of residents.
Their duties vary by setting but will typically include helping with daily activities like eating, washing, and dressing, as well as monitoring vital signs and assisting with clinical procedures.
Support Works also support patients before, during, and after healthcare treatments, and handle non-clinical tasks such as record-keeping, tidying, and equipment cleaning.
This apprenticeship will allow you strengthen your skills and knowledge to succeed in this role and be able to carry out the necessary duties of a Support Worker in the health and social care sector.
Throughout the course you’ll learn a vast range of knowledge, skills and behaviours (KSBs).
The KSBs developed on this apprenticeship follow those of the Level 2 Healthcare Support Worker apprenticeship training programme.
You can find full details here: Skills England – Level 2 Healthcare Support Worker.
