Directions

All our centres have multiple options for transport, so whatever your preference, you will find getting there easy.

Walk and cycle

10-minute walk/3-minute cycle from Oxford Road, which has transport connections for the rest of the city and cycle lanes.

10-minute cycle from the Fallowfield loop; a protected cycle and walkway.

Cycling racks are available outside the centre to secure your bike.

Bus and tram

If walking or cycling isn’t an option, Greenheys is well served by local buses, including the 42, 42B, 42C, 43, 87, 111, 142, 143, 147 and the 749. These buses run from a stop just outside the centre on Upper Lloyd Street.

Tram routes do not run near the centre but if you are getting a tram to the city centre, you could change to a bus for the rest of your journey. The nearest tram stop is Deansgate or St Peter’s Square, which is approximately a 40-minute walk from the centre.
